The ultimate focus of Urban Search and Rescue work is to duly serve the citizen. We feel, therefore, that the public should be well informed about the team’s capabilities, goals, and challenges. Ohio Task Force One welcomes all inquires from the media to this end. We are happy to conduct interviews, have the media present during team trainings, and exhibit our numerous resources. During the course of a deployment, members of the press may obtain up-to-date information about the team’s status and activities from the “Press Release” section of our online forum. We have also hosted embedded media crews on deployment for a closer view of day-to-day US&R activities.
